What is the Critical Voices Initiative 10-Week Academy?
Our 10-week intensive academy is designed to give you the tools and confidence to handle tough discussions. By blending self-paced online learning with live, interactive group sessions, our academy provides a flexible and supportive environment where you can practice new skills, learn from others, and grow by engaging in critical conversations with respect and dignity. The academy's focus builds your ability to understand others. It is not focused on attempts to convert people to a particular way of thinking or believing.
This program is perfect for people who want to deepen their ability to understand people different from themselves by facing difficult or challenging topics with respect and curiosity.
Throughout this 3-month immersive journey, you’ll engage in a variety of learning experiences that go beyond the traditional workshop. Enjoy on-demand video-based lessons that fit into your schedule, along with small group "Deep Dive" conversations where you can explore critical topics with individuals from diverse backgrounds for a better understanding of the today's world.
Hearing From Experts With Real Testimonials and Examples
You'll also join larger group sessions featuring DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) thought leaders and experts in candid conversation techniques. By having a detailed journal to document your progress, thoughts, and reflections along the way, our academy focuses on the longevity of learning – of applicable practice post-completion. At the end of our time together, you’ll receive a Certification of Completion, marking your growth and commitment to fostering real change.
